On Wednesday night, Kyrie Irving made his 2021-2022 debut for the Brooklyn Nets.
For someone who hadn’t played a basketball game since June, Irving looked like he didn’t miss a beat.
Irving scored 22 points, shooting 9-for-17 from the floor, with four assists, three rebounds and three steals.
With the Nets two games at home and because Irving is unvaccinated and unable to play in those games, Irving will be eligible to play next for the Nets on Monday night against the Portland Trail Blazers.
