There has been a lot of speculation in the state of Texas that the Dallas Cowboys will be drafting Kyle Pitts with the 10th overall pick in this Thursday’s NFL Draft. While team owner Jerry Jones initially seemed very high on Pitts, he recently indicated that “need” is more important than anything else, implying that it might not be worth drafting Pitts.
With the recent retirements of Tyrone Crawford and Sean Lee, it is very possible that Dallas will not pursue Pitts and go after their actual needs. With that said, Jerry Jones is the ultimate showman and he loves making a big splash in the media. Signing Pitts would certainly do that, and would without question give Dak Prescott one heck of a target to throw to for the 2021 season.
Copied below is the complete order of Dallas’ draft picks.
