Earlier Tuesday afternoon, after driver Kyle Larson used a racial slur during a NASCAR eRace, Larson was fired by Chip Ganassi Racing. Chip Ganassi Racing released a statement on their Twitter.
It’s not much of a surprise that Larson was let go by his employer. What he did is not only incredibly wrong to say, but it has set the whole sport back.
NASCAR has always been known as the sport only loved by rednecks and hillbillies, who are assumed to be racist, when really that isn’t true and after years and years of proof that all that isn’t true, Larson said this and ruined all of that.
