In the second half of a pivotal divisional game against the Green Bay Packers, the Minnesota Vikings may have lost their key weapon on offense for an extended period of time.
In the video below, Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins was seen hobbling off the field after seeing an ankle/lower leg injury on a non-contact play.
You can see above that there was a pop in the ankle/Achilles area, and Cousins was immediately in pain and not putting pressure on his right foot.
Even though Minnesota would hang on to win 24-10 over the Packers, Vikings fans are going to be left holding their breath. With their record and place they’re in the NFC North, the team can’t afford another playmaker on offense especially with star wide receiver Justin Jefferson out with a hamstring injury.
It’s a wait-and-see approach at this point for the former Michigan State Spartan quarterback.
