Now here’s a badass and class act by the ‘American Badass.’

Rock rapper/singer, entrepreneur, and Michigan native Kid Rock became the latest contributor to Dave Portnoy’s Barstool Fund as he has donated $100,000 to help those struggling with the financial impact due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Via the Detroit News, Kid Rock’s donation is believed to be made to help provide financial relief to small businesses and restaurants in the metropolitan/suburban areas of Detroit.

With the donation total now up to about $18 million, businesses that are listed in eligibility for the Fund in Detroit include Mac’s Acadian Seafood Shack in Saline, Champ’s Pub in Brighton, Salon Volume in Allen Park and Premier Sports Center in Shelby Township.

Rock has owned and ran several businesses across Midwest region including his famed Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk & Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse in Nashville.
