Most people may not know this but ex-NFL receiver Keyshawn Johnson and Jon Gruden have a past with each other. Johnson played for Gruden in Tampa Bay as a Buccaneer. Keyshawn decided to not mince his words when speaking on his former coach.
On Johnson’s ESPN radio show, “Keyshawn, JWill, & Max”, Johnson decided to fully air out his grievances towards Gruden. Johnson was quoted saying, “He’s just always been a fraud to me…” This should strike a chord with most of the media and people following along to the story. A man who risked his life for Gruden can’t even have his back in a time like this. What Gruden did must have not been extremely out of character because it didn’t seem to surprise Keyshawn in the slightest.
Johnson was also quoted calling Gruden a “Used Car Salesman”, and I couldn’t agree more. Jon Gruden has made a career off of other peoples successes and tries to claim them as his own. Even his 1 Super Bowl win is tainted as most of the team was built by Hall of Famer Tony Dungy. Hell, even that game should be astricked as he played his old team and literally knew the whole playbook front to back.
Gruden will in no way shape or form bounce back from this and his career is ultimately over. Gruden will have to sit back at home and just think about football, as that’s probably as close as he’ll get now.
