Earlier this evening, the Brooklyn Nets took on the New York Knicks and were finally able to end their 11 game losing streak that lasted over the course of three weeks.

The Nets locker room was full of energy after the game, and Nets small forward Kevin Durant was in the mood to talk some trash to their cross town rival. In a tweet copied below, Durant implies that the Knicks fans did not show up in Madison Square Garden tonight, but apparently the Nets fans did.

While watching the game, the Nets fans seemed considerably louder than the Knicks fans were and you can see a bit more Nets jerseys than you might expect for an away game, even though it is just a few miles down the road from Barclays.

Durant was obviously referring to the Barclays Center in the above mentioned tweet. The tweet has since gone viral and has received nearly 24,000 likes as of this writing in a matter of thirty minutes.

It’s big talk for a team who has hardly won any games for the past month. Durant should learn to keep his mouth shut on Twitter and focus on his team’s win loss record instead.
