Kenny Golladay Practices for Second Straight Day

Written by Will

It’s hard to look at the positives right now if you are a lions fan. The team is 0-2, they have lost 11 straight games, and have blown four double-digit leads in a row. Yeah, not good to say the least. Well, finally some positive news for the Lions, Kenny Golladay is on pace to play this week.

Kenny Golladay is the Lion’s best wide receiver, especially as a deep threat. Golladay led the league with 11 touchdowns in 2019, and he was one the best receivers in the league when it came to deep passes. Leading the league with the most 25-yard catches, plus had an average 0f 18.3 yards on catches, ranking third overall. Golladay has missed the first two weeks of the season with a hamstring injury. He returned to practice on Wednesday and practiced again today. A good sign that he could suit up this week.

Matthew Stafford and the Lions offense need Golladay. Stafford has only completed two passes for 20 yards or more in the first two weeks of the season. That will change with Golladay in the offense and hopefully, we will start to see Stafford throw bombs to Golladay come Sunday. In the meantime, check out these awesome highlights from Kenny Golladay.
