I never fun reporting the loss I’m an athlete or any person for that matter. Unfortunately, it’d a sort of life that everyone has to deal with at some point or another.

It was announced earlier this months that former California (now Los Angeles) Angels outfielder Richie Scheinblum passed away at the age of 78. Aside from the Angels, Scheinblum also played for the Cincinnati Reds, Kansas City Royals, Washington Senators, Cleveland Indians, and the St. Louis Cardinals.

In more bad news for the Royals, star pitcher Jonathan Bowlan needs Tommy John surgery, the team said Thursday. Bowlan was also supposed to play on the men’s team this upcoming Olympics.
