Kansas City Chiefs Linebacker Murders Girlfriend And Shoots Himself; Roger Goodell And NFL Need To End High Scandal Rate

Written by Chris Powers

A dark day for the Kansas City Chiefs organization for sure, the murder/suicide of Jovan Belcher and his girlfriend becomes 10 years old now in 2022. Belcher shot his girlfriend Kasandra Perkins and then killed himself at the team’s practice facility in front of the team’s General Manager, Scott Pioli.

On January 14, 2013, the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s office released autopsy reports, showing that Belcher had a blood alcohol content of 0.170 mg/dL in his system, more than double the legal driving limit in Missouri.

It was later discovered that Belcher had CTE, a neurological disease that is caused by brain trauma.

It seems that the NFL is full of scandals over the years, and for some reason Commissioner Roger Goodell never has to take the blame for any of it, including the great lengths that the NFL goes to cover things up.

At some point, Goodell and the NFL need to take accountability for their actions and inability to run a league that has a scandal of some sort nearly every year.
