The year 2021 has not been good to NFL athletes. It seems like this year more than ever that we have seen more deaths of NFL athletes than ever before.

The most recent NFL franchise to come out with heartbreaking loss is the Kansas City Chiefs. It was announced back on November 27th that former Chief and Hall of Famer Curley Culp had passed away.

Another Kansas City Chiefs Hall of Famer has a target on his back. Tampa Bat Buccaneers Tight send Rob Gronkowski recently stated he is coming for one of Tony Gonzalez’s records that he holds, that being the most reception yards by a tight end. Gronk had nothing but kind words to say about Gonzalez below:

“Let me tell you, I’m trying to break that record,” Gronkowski said per NFL.com. “I mean, why wouldn’t I try to break that record? I’m coming for it. Tony, I’m coming for it. Basically, you got every record, so I’m coming for this one, and it’s a pretty cool one, too, for sure. It just shows that I guess you’re a baller and Tony’s a baller.”
