One of the most popular female superstars of recent memory of WWE is Kairi Sane, who had a rather successful stint in the company, becoming a Women’s Tag Team Champion and a former NXT Women’s Champion. She won the 2017 Mae Young Classic and finished top ten in PWI’s Women 100 in both 2018 and 2019.

Due to a variety of reasons, including multiple concussions (notably, working with Nia Jax and then one at the 2019 TLC event where Becky Lynch had to roll her under the ring just so she didn’t get more seriously injured), as well as starting a family back home, she has retired from in ring competition.

Her latest move? An ambassador for the company. The goal of an ambassador is to grow the WWE brand in a different area they haven’t inhabited much.

Could this leave Kairi open for surprise returns such as Royal Rumbles in the future? Perhaps, but I think that even moreso it gives us more insight into WWEs plans for a future Performance Center in Japan.
