The Giants started off the night with the 11th pick, but traded with Chicago Bears at the last minute.

The Bears acquired the No. 11 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft from the New York Giants in exchange for the No. 20 pick, a fifth-round pick (No. 164) and 2022 first-round and fourth-round selections.

So with the 20th pick, the New York Giants selected Kadarius Toney, wide receiver out of the University of Florida.

After three seasons as a utility player for the Florida Gators, Kadarius Toney broke onto the scene last season as a wide receiver. In 11 games, Toney hauled in 70 receptions for 984 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Prior to his time at Florida, Toney was a 247Sports Composite three-star recruit out of Blount High School in Eight Mile, Alabama. He was also the No. 25 ranked ATH in the recruiting class of 2017.

Before Toney’s breakout 2020 season, the six-foot wideout had a combined 50 catches for 606 yards with two touchdowns across his first three seasons. He also totaled 66 carries for 580 yards with two rushing scores in his four-year Florida career.
