Just Like A-Rod the Yankees can’t seal the deal

Written by mharris

Another Heartbreaking loss for The New York Yankees against The Phillies. Which makes The Yankees just as bad as A-Rod on sealing the deal *cough cough* J-Lo and The Timberwolves.

Starting off the game with Taillon only pitching 0.1 innings allowing 5 hits and 4 runs and per usual the Yankees were very quiet on the offensive side of things. Slowly things got better for the Yankees after being down 7-2 at one point in time. But they chipped at the lead and in the top of the 9th Robo-Man DJ LeMahieu blasts a 3-run shot to tie the game and the game eventually goes into extras

In extras the Yankees start with Gleyber on 2nd with Gio “Gold Glove” Urshela grounding out and then brings up Gary Sanchez who already had a home run in the game but ends up striking out. Down to the final out in the inning using their last bench bat Kyle Higashioka comes in to pinch hit and strikes out looking to leave Torres stranded on 2nd. In comes Cuban Missile Aroldis Chapman who has been getting demolished as of late. The Phillies start off with former Yankee on 2nd Ronald Torreyes, Jankowski throws down a bunt which causes Chapman to have a stroke and nearly launch the ball to the second deck. Herrera comes up with runners on the corners and fly’s out. In comes Jean Segura to be the hero no one wanted and walks it off with a single up the middle.

Will it get any better Yankees fans? Probably not.
