JUST IN: Celtics Legend Danny Ainge Retires As Celtics President:Will Brad Stevens Do Better?

Written by austenlange

In breaking news Ex-Celtics Player/President of Operations Danny Ainge has FINALLY decided to retire. Ainge took the Celtics over as President of Operations in 2003. While many think Ainge left a lot of work “on the table” I believe Ainge helped revitalize a storied franchise.

It’s really good to see that the organization was all in on this decision and they backed THEIR guy until the end. Lets not forget what Danny Ainge accomplished in 2018.

While these moves didn’t fully work out in his favor it’s always amazing to see the organizations management take risks and understand that being stagnant in the NBA is just something you can’t do anymore if you want to keep up with the high levels of competition. Mr. Ainge did one hell of a job and I wish him the best in his retirement
