Josh Allen reached for his right elbow after his forearm was bent backward in the crossfire of a strip sack on the Buffalo Bills final drive in their loss to the New York Jets on Sunday.

After a red-hot start to the season, QB Josh Allen has looked mortal for the Buffalo Bills. There might be an explanation for Josh Allen’s struggles, an elbow injury. After their loss against the Jets, Allen all but confirmed that he was indeed feeling some “pain” on his throwing elbow, as per Ian Rapoport.

Allen has made some baffling decision with the ball that led to either bad incompletions or takeaways by the Jets defense. Allen himself acknowledged that he had a terrible game in one of his comments.

The Buffalo Bills built a reputation of being a gun-slinging offense, with Allen launching bombs to Stefon Diggs and the rest of the receiving corps. If their star QB is indeed playing through an elbow injury, it severely limits his ability to go deep when needed.

This sore elbow should be of major concern to the Bills. Their offense is not been looking as dynamic as it was in the beginning of the season.
