The Philadelphia Phillies will carry both Johan Rojas and Cristian Pache on the Opening Day roster, as per Matt Gelb.

Kody Clemens was optioned to Triple-A and outfielder Jake Cave was traded to the Colorado Rockies.

Both stellar fielding outfielders, Rojas and Pache will begin the season with the Phillies. There has been much talk over the last couple weeks about the two.

Rojas still has Minor League options and Pache does not. Rojas struggled with the bat in last year’s postseason and in spring training. Pache has had a really good spring training and deserved to make the roster.

Clemens had a really good spring. He hit .325 with three home runs and 10 RBIs. Last year, Clemens .230 with four home runs and 13 RBIs in 47 games with the Phillies.
