Joe Burrow is having a good start to his first NFL playoff game.
The Bengals second touchdown of the first half came on a play that involved some controversy. Joe Burrow was scrambling and threw the ball. Tyler Boyd catches it for a touchdown. But the referee apparently blew the whistle before the touchdown.
According to the rules, the whistle should have meant the play was over.
Thankfully, the play wasn’t blown dead because of bad officiating. The touchdown still stood. The Bengals took a 20-13 lead into halftime.
