Just when it looked like Jim Harbaugh wasn’t interviewing with any NFL teams, he’s landed his first interview.
The Michigan head coach will interview with the Minnesota Vikings for their head coaching vacancy.
The Vikings are looking to replace Mike Zimmer, who was dismissed after seven seasons as the head coach.
Harbaugh, who last coached in the NFL back in 2014 with the San Francisco 49ers, has been with his alma mater in Michigan since 2015 and has been very successful there. But Harbaugh did say that he would entertain NFL offers this off-season, and now he’s entertaining his first.
Some had wondered if the Las Vegas Raiders would jump into the mix for Harbaugh, but they haven’t reached out yet with interest.
