Listen I will be honest I have not watched much of Justin Fields because as a Jets fan I have had my eyes set on Trevor Lawerence this so Fields would seem like a bummer. In the two times I have seen Ohio State play they have lost both games and Fields has looked horrendous. But I am not a scout or a analyst by any means but I feel the drop between Lawerence and Fields is huge. But not according to former ESPN analyst Trent Dilfer.

Dilfer spent a lot of the time with both quarterbacks because both of them attended his QB camp when they were in high school. He said that he doesn’t see that much of a difference between Trevor Lawerence and Justin Fields. For Jets fan I think I can speak for all of us morons and say that we would rather have Sam Darnold as our QB then taking Justin Fields.

I feel it would be a kick in the nuts for the Jets if they got the number two pick and ended up with Justin Fields. Personally I would rather the Jets trade down if they end up with the second pick and acquire more picks. This is the worst case scenario for the Jets ending up with the second pick in the draft unless they select Offensive Lineman Penei Sewell out of Oregon who is regarded as the best OL in the last five years.

Also I would like to state that Trent Dilfer is not the most ‘reputable’ source this is the man who once said, “you cannot lose games in the NFL and still win”. We will see what the Jets do and what pick they actually end up with because remember Jacksonville can beat the Bears this week not likely but it could happen.
