In the second quarter of the Monday Night Football game between the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills, ESPN cameras caught a Jets fan giving the middle finger after Jets QB Zach Wilson throws an interception.
Wilson replaced new Jets QB Aaron Rodgers who was injured on the Jets first drive of the game. Jets fans were pumped to see the future Hall-of-Fame QB lead their team.
The injury to Rodgers put a damper on the Jets fans enthusiasm. Wilson was the second overall pick in 2021 NFL Draft by the Jets to become the team’s franchise QB.
Wilson struggled and that’s why the Jets traded for Rodgers. Fans and teammates were not happy with Wilson last year.
Depending on the news on Rodgers’ injury, the Jets could be in for a long season.
