Jerry Jones Issues Apology After Using Offensive Term About Little People; Called Them What?!

Written by TrevStone

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had to issue an apology recently after using an offensive term when talking about little people.

Jones was trying to pay tribute to former Cowboys director of scouting Larry Lacewell when he used the m-word.

Yep. He said midget.

“Earlier today I made a reference which I understand may have been viewed as offensive. I apologize,” he said in a statement.

What a scumbag. Who could ever mess up this bad? Really? You are going to call him a midget? Just kidding. This is an obvious mistake and I’m sure he has been saying midget his entire life. No, that doesn’t make it right. But a lot of people don’t see it as offensive, and this old fart didn’t either. Let him be. And I’m no Jerry Jones fan.
