Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones believes that Super Bowl’s are won in November. The Dallas Cowboys beat the Minnesota Vikings 40-3. Jones was asked if his team is a Super Bowl contender. Here’s what he said, as per ESPN:
“A resounding yes. Yes. Unequivocally,” Jones said. “I think we’ve had adversity. We very easily could have more adversity … Yes, I think if we use the experience of what we’re having in the season, then we’re going to be playoff ready. But I sure do think that what I see out here right now is the team like that you could go get a Super Bowl with.”
We’ve heard it before, right? Like every year for the past 15 or so years? The Cowboys put together a good regular season, have so-called star power on paper, talk a big game, then dip right out of the playoffs. They are the NFL’s top chokers. The Cowboys just one week removed from a huge collapse against the Green Bay Packers.
Jones likes to make himself the star of the show. He can almost always be found in front of a microphone or a television camera.
The win improves the Cowboys record to 7-3. The Philadelphia Eagles are 9-1, and have the best record in the NFL. The Eagles defeated the Cowboys earlier in the season. The Cowboys are fraud team, led by a fraud owner, Head Coach and QB. Jones can keep wishing upon the star on his team’s helmet.
