During Sunday’s game between the New York Giants and the Indianapolis Colts, Giants pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux sacked Colts QB Nick Foles that sent him into a celebration where he did snow angels on the turf.
It is one of the most disturbing football visuals you’ll ever see, Thibodeaux sprawled on the ground and made a snow angel, while Colts QB Nick Foles convulsed in pain, after being driven into the MetLife Stadium turf by Thibodeaux.
Colts head coach Jeff Saturday revealed his thoughts on the situation. According to ESPN’s Stephen Holder, Saturday said that Foles is “really sore” and will miss Week 18’s regular-season finale before calling Thibodeaux’s celebration “tasteless” and “trash.” He also wanted the Colts offensive lineman to intervene.
After the game, Thibodeaux defended his celebration, saying that he didn’t know Foles was injured before his celebration.
