The former WWE Champion & self-made millionaire, John Bradshaw Layfield has been confirmed as the latest Hall of Fame inductee.

Throughout his time in WWE, JBL accumulated a whopping 24 championship reigns including one reign as WWE Champion, one reign as United States Champion, one reign as European Champion, seventeen reigns as Hardcore Champion, one reign as Intercontinental Champion, and three reigns as World Tag Team Champion.

JBL is best known for his controversial title reigns and his “Clothesline from Hell” that he used to put away countless opponents until his retirement in 2009. After his in-ring career, Layfield experienced success whether it was as a WWE color commentator or a financial analyst on networks like CNN, MSNBC and Fox News until he decided to retire in 2017.

WWE released a statement saying, “For his incredible career in the ring and behind the microphone, JBL is being recognized with the ultimate honor: induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.”

JBL joins the current lis of Batista, The Bella Twins and nWo members Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman and Kevin Nash in the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame class.
