Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce and his family are ready for what’s being called the “Kelce Bowl.”
On their podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, the two brothers discussed having their family members at the 2023 Super Bowl, where the Eagles will face off against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jason revealed that his wife, Kylie, is pregnant with their third child. With her due date being so close to kickoff, her OB-GYN will be making the trip to the Super Bowl.
“Kylie’s bringing her OB because she’s going to be 38 weeks pregnant at the game,” Jason Kelce said.
“Dude! Dude,” Travis said.”That could be a super Kelce Bowl.
If she has a baby in the stadium, it’s officially scripted,” Jason laughed.
“We’re in The Matrix, there’s no f–ing way,” Travis snickered.
“The doctor and another person in the office generously decided to go to the Super Bowl with my wife to make sure that if anything does happen that they’ll be ready to assist her in anyway. Now, they can’t practice medicine in Arizona. So, we have some people on the ground in Arizona in case the baby decides to come there.”
The lead-up to Super Bowl LVII has already been a family affair, with their mother, Donna, being interviewed on “TODAY.” Asked who she’ll be rooting for, Donna joked “the offense,” before noting that it would be a stress-free Sunday, especially since both of her sons have previously won Super Bowls with their respective teams.
“They’ve already got the first win under their belts, so this is just going to be pure joy,” Donna said. “We’re going to really enjoy this, have a great time. Obviously, there’s going to be somebody that’s going to go home heartbroken,” she said. “They won’t have the bragging rights at the Thanksgiving table, but this is going to be an awesome event and I’m really looking forward to it.”
