Starting offensive lineman Jared Veldheer, who started for the Indianapolis Colts last weekend in their wild-card playoff game against the Buffalo Bills is signing with the Green Bay Packers and has a chance to start in two different playoff games in the same season. This situation is completely allowed because he was on the Colts practice squad when he was signed. Veldheer was also signed to the Green Bay Packers in 2019 when starter Bryan Bulaga left in Week 17 because of a concussion, so we’ll see if the Packers impressive offensive-line can hold off Aaron Donald especially after losing Pro Bowl left tackle David Baktiari to an ACL injury right before the playoffs.

The Los Angeles Rams are traveling to Green Bay to battle the Packers this weekend and with how the Rams defensive-line has been playing of late, the signing makes perfect sense. Aaron thrives when he has time in the pocket, he’s clearly not the most mobile quarterback. The ironic part is Phillip Rivers and the Colts seeing their practice squad offensive line-man starting for a Super Bowl contending team right after taking that loss.

The question is still up in the air if Jared Veldheer is actually gonna play for the Packers this Saturday, but If he does it will be something historic. Definitely something to watch out for.
