Houston Rockets star Jalen Green was on IG live a few hours ago and laughed about a comment from one of his fans who commented “Don’t pull a Ja and pull the gun out.”
Green laughed off the comment and immediately said, “I don’t have a gun.” The joke was fired towards controversial Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant, who seemingly can’t get on IG live without flashing a gun to his thousands of followers.
The Memphis Grizzlies have suspended Morant for the second time due to his actions. The league is currently investigating the incident and is expected to hand down a lengthy suspension towards Morant.
Jalen Green is clearly following the situation but clearly doesn’t want to get involved with anything Morant did. In his couple of years with the Rockets, he has never been involved in any controversy off the court.
He is also emerging as the franchise player for the Houston Rockets from this season and onwards. Green was described as Kobe lite when he first came into the league. His development has been superb while taking a huge leap this past season and the Rockets are happy with his progress as a young player.
Green, an American born NBA player with Filipino descent through his mother, has emerged as a budding franchise player for the Houston Rockets this season while averaging 22.1 ppg, 3.7 rpg and 3.7 apg.
