Isaiah Thomas once was in the Eastern Conference Championship game with the Boston Celtics competing to get into the NBA Finals, but the 10 year veteran now has recently signed a 10-day contract with the New Orleans Pelicans. The 5’9 point guard Thomas last played in the NBA in February 2020 with the Washington Wizards in which he averaged 12.2 points, 1.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 23.1 minutes per game. But then Thomas was waived when he was acquired by the Los Angeles Clippers at the 2020 trade deadline.
The signing comes fresh off Thomas playing for team USA and helping them achieve two wins. You can only root for the guy who scored 50 points in playoff games in some of the hardest times of his life, with losing his sister and getting his front teeth knocked out in the middle of a game.
