Thanasis Antetokounmpo, the older brother of NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, has carved out a successful career for himself in the NBA. Over the course of his career, Thanasis has displayed his unique skill set and athleticism, making him a valuable asset to the Milwaukee Bucks.

But after his recent suspension, several analysts and fans question his role for the Bucks, particularly his career in the NBA in general.

Iranian-American player Mike Rostampour has played against Thanasis in the past and he offered a unique perspective on how he viewed The Greek Freak’s older brother when he played against him in FIBA-sanctioned games.

Thanasis has demonstrated his versatility as a player in the NBA. He is known for his exceptional defense, utilizing his athleticism and length to disrupt opponents’ plays and create turnovers. He has shown an ability to guard multiple positions, making him a valuable asset for defensive schemes. Additionally, he is an energy player who brings intensity and hustle to every game, providing a spark off the bench and motivating his teammates.

The older Antetokounmpo has showcased his skills in international basketball. He has represented Greece in various international competitions, including the FIBA Basketball World Cup and the EuroBasket tournament. He has been a key player for the Greek national team, displaying his talent, leadership, and competitive spirit on the international stage.

He has also shown a willingness to adapt to different roles and responsibilities within his team, including accepting a role off the bench and providing energy and effort whenever called upon. His commitment to self-improvement and team-oriented mindset make him a valuable addition to the Bucks.

Even if Giannis had a hand in his older brother’s employment with the Bucks, it’s all worth it for Milwaukee. Thanasis keeps his younger brother’s feet on the ground and is currently his biggest cheerleader on the court whenever an amazing basketball sequence occurs.

For what it’s worth, Giannis is worth a couple of roster spots and he can bring all his brothers aboard if he wants to. If Milwaukee is employing Thanasis to keep Giannis happy, we’re pretty sure that the rest of the league will also do it if given a chance to please their franchise players.
