Jake Paul is coming off of a huge victory this past weekend in a boxing match against MMA standout Ben Askren. The fight did not last long, as Paul made short work of Askren. Unfortunately for Askren, a devastating overhand right from Paul sent him tumbling to the floor. Although Askren was able to rise during the count, the referee deemed Askren unable to continue and called the fight off at the 1:59 mark of Round 1. Needless to say, Paul celebrated in big fashion with his team.

Thus far, Paul has impressed in the ring with victories over Askren and former NBA first round pick, Nate Robinson. While the victory over Askren was certainly much more decisive, Paul also made relatively quick work of Robinson with a second round knockout in November of 2020.

Given a recent tweet, Paul indicated that his boxing days may numbered. He also indicated that he might be on to bigger and better things.

Here’s the crazy part. Everything this guy says, he accomplishes. Would it surprise me if he tried out for the NFL? Absolutely not. Would it surprise me if he actually made a team? Only because it’s so hard to do, yes, it may surprise me a little bit. With that said, if anybody could find their way onto an NFL roster even if its the practice squad, it’s Jake Paul. This guy has more determination and grit than anyone gives him credit for.

Will Jake Paul be the next great free safety in the NFL? Only time will tell. In the mean time, if you have not seen the “Jake Paul: PRBLM Child – The Complete Documentary” be sure to click the link below to FITE.TV and check it out.
