Through the past few days since the MLB All-Star break, the Detroit Tigers have played good baseball as of late, and the way they’re may have gained a notable fan in the process.
Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy have sent out multiple tweets openly rooting for the Tigers, along with some from employee Chris Castellani, possibly hinting that he is a big fan of the team.
Along with today’s tweets, Portnoy even asked Chris (in all cap letters) to give everyone some recap videos just like from Wednesday night as the Tigers defeated the Texas Rangers, 4-2.
For those who don’t know Chris is, he has done many viral recap videos of specific sports games on Twitter for his beloved Tigers and Michigan Wolverines. He was hired this year by Barstool Sports to do blogs and more of those videos.
He maybe from outside of Boston rooting for the Red Sox, but there’s room for Dave to become a full-time Detroit Tigers fan if he really wants to.
With the way the Tigers have been building up and possibly contending in the AL Central division, it’s never too late to be part of the Tigers’ family, and Tigers fans could welcome the ‘El Presidente’ to the family.
