On the day of the 2021 NFL Draft, apparently one NFL superstar is reportedly feeling some discontent with his own team.
Multiple reports have been going around that All-Pro quarterback Aaron Rodgers is unhappy with how everything is going with him and the Packers organization.
Via NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, details of the feud is mostly about negotiations for a potential long-term contract and Rodgers has been unsettled about the stalemate between the two parties.
With the fact that the Packers have drafted Utah State quarterback Jordan Love at No. 26 overall last year, it may have fueled the pressure for Rodgers to compete in 2020 during their deep playoff run and perhaps seek that new contract.
However, this current situation seems it is more about his current contract than anything. Green Bay has offered an extension and reportedly is committed to Rodgers for at least 2021.
We will see how this situation all plays out from Draft night through this offseason.
