I Just Asked Donald Trump for a Pardon

Written by Mike Rickard II

I just tweeted President Donald J. Trump for a pardon for my 2010 convictions for bank robbery and I’m hoping the WWE Hall of Famer comes through. If you’ve been following the news, you know our President has been handing out a number of pardons lately (and if you click here, you’ll see he’s done so before) and I figure what could it hurt to ask?

After robbing two banks in 2010, I’ve done my time, paid back the feds for my penalties for early withdrawal and feel I’ve come a long way in turning my life around (with loads of help from the good Lord, my family, and my friends). So why not get the charges dropped?

I made things easy by tweeting our President as it’s probably the best way to get his attention. Here’s my tweet:

I made sure to include a hype video for my prison memoir Laughing All the Way to the Bank (Robbery): How an Attorney Survived Prison because if nothing else, maybe I’ll get a retweet and a few extra sales for my book.

As readers know, I’ve been a big supporter of the President and while I haven’t heard from him personally (he is a busy man), I’d like to think he’s read some of my pro-Trump articles including “Trump Says COVID-19 is a Pussy and so is Joe Biden” and “Will Boba Fett Pursue Bounty on Donald Trump?” I may not get that pardon, but at least I tried.
