With the final 53-man roster for the 2019-2020 New England Patriots out, there is one notable change. Brian Hoyer has been cut and Jarrett Stidham is in to be Tom Brady’s back up (if he ever needs one).
Sure, Hoyer was good during the preseason, but he has been in the game too long. Hoyer has been with seven teams since 2009, starting and ending with the Patriots; everywhere else has been there for no more than 2 years. Hoyer is 33 years old, it’s time for him to go somewhere, that would love to win a few games with him.
On the flip side, Jarrett Stidham is a 23-year-old rookie out of Auburn, who has the ability to learn as much as possible from the GOAT. Stidham is gonna milk this for. All it’s worth and will be force to reckon with.
