The quarterback controversy in the NFL has run rampant this year throughout many organizations, but it seems like the Houston Texans have been at the forefront of the issue. During the offseason, the organization added several quarterbacks due to the speculation that DeShaun Watson would be leaving the organization for greener pastures.

After adding several quarterbacks tot he depth charter, the Texans finally made a move and decided to release backup quarterback Ryan Finley after just recently signing Jeff Driskel. One has to wonder at one point DeShaun Watson eventually moves on from the organization as he is clearly very unhappy there. Only time will tell when we see Watson wearing a different uniform.

In other NFL news, are the Falcons moving on from star wide receiver Julio Jones? Trade speculation of Jones has been all the talk of the NFL with a multitude of landing spots for him. Jones verbally stated he was done with the Falcons so it seems essential that Atlanta starts looking at replacement options.

“Oh no man, I’m out of there (Atlanta) man,” Jones told Shannon Sharpe on Fox Sports 1’s Undisputed morning show on Monday.

Yesterday afternoon it was announced that the Falcons signed former Tennessee Titans wide receiver Tajae Sharpe to the roster. Sharpe has played four NFL seasons with the Tennessee Titans and Minnesota Vikings. He previously played for Falcons head coach Arthur Smith’s offensive system in 2019 with the Titans.
