The Houston Astros, find themselves in the middle of one of the biggest cheating scandals in professional sports. USA Today first reported that they have hired Dusty Baker to be their next manager.

Dusty Baker is 70 years old his resume speaks for itself, he’s the three time National League Manager of the Year, he has brought four different teams to the playoffs nine times, he has seven division titles, and a National League pennant to his name, Baker seems like the most qualified person to take over this talented Astros team.

We all are well aware that the Astros got caught using electronic equipment mainly cameras to steal signs which resulted in the firings of their former General Manager Jeff Luhnow, and manger A.J Hinch.

Baker is a well respected manger in the MLB and seems like the Astros who have made multiple bad decisions have final made a good one this is the best bridge to Hinch that they could have bargained for.

This seems like the best situation for Dusty Baker to have that one last final ride, and a heck of a ride it should be even though the Astros are despicable team they are still the top dogs in the American League, I am happy for Dusty. This is a good day for Major League Baseball, and more importantly it was a good PR move on the Astros part.
