Just when you think the Detroit Lions were down with less than a few seconds left in the game, they were never out.
It showed on the road Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons as they won the game with no time remaining on a touchdown pass from quarterback Matthew Stafford to tight end TJ Hockenson.
And after a couple penalty flags after the play, kicker Matt Prater went on to seal the Lions victory by the score of 23-22.
Just like back in the day in the Lions’ comeback cats days, this whole play was vintage Matthew Stafford with the win there.
