After a few days of anticipation, the Detroit Tigers faithful got their chance to see history at Comerica Park.

Early in the first inning of a doubleheader Saturday, Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera eclipsed the 3,000 hit mark off a single from Colorado Rockies pitcher Antonio Senzatala.

Here’s the clip of the hit from Tigers radio play by play announcer, Dan Dickerson:

And who would be the one of first people to congratulate him on that accomplishment? His former teammate in Rockies shortstop Jose Iglesias.

As mentioned by the Tigers’s team Twitter account, Cabrera would be the seventh player in MLB history with 500 home runs and 3,000 hits in his career.

Congratulations Miggy! Have yourself a day!
