Jose is a guy who I have been rooting for as long as I can remember. The short undersized 2nd Baseman from Venezuela is someone who has earned the respect from his peers and fans.
Altuve is turning 32 today and should be celebrated. Throughout the years we have lost many of our hometown heros like George Springer, and Carlos Correa but Altuve has firmly cemented himself into the Houston Astros all-time greatest players.
He goes out day in and day out and just puts the whole city (4th largest in the country btw) on his small little back and just fucking wins.
Many call him a cheater and a fake but to them I say kick rocks. Jose Altuve is a player worth being celebrated and there is absolutely nothing you can do to change my mind.
