With less than a month away until the 2020 election, we got another despicable viral event that involves a supporter of President Trump and his politics.
In a YouTube video by the News Junkies Cartoons, an African-American male on board a Southwest Airlines plane was on video getting the boot from the flight because he ‘lowered his mask to eat food.‘
As you can see in the video below, the guy had a Trump hat/mask on along with a bag of Planters in his hand, and was going to eat them before the flight attendant caught him.
According to a story from the New York Post, the passenger was asked repeatedly by one of the reps and attendants there that he needed to take the face covering off on that flight.
“Our reports indicate that a Customer traveling on Flight 2632, with scheduled service from Tampa to Dallas, was asked repeatedly by more than one employee at different times to wear a face mask. The customer did not comply with our crew’s multiple verbal requests — including while boarding the flight before seated,” the representative from Southwest Airlines said to New York Post.
The passenger was eventually removed from the original flight was placed on a different one.
From my estimation, I thought it was legal to pull the mask down to eat and drink on flights on any airlines. Just my observation and view from the situation.
Just another negative that has come down due to COVID-19, hopefully all of these rules will be gone within the next couple years.
