Griffin To Play In NFL Another Season After Signing 1 Year Deal With Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Written by Chris Powers

The 2022 off-season of the NFL has been full of drama, which is exactly what NFL “brass” likes to see. The more drama during the off-season, the more it keeps the organization in the press. More specifically, the quarterback position has been the primary drama throughout the past couple of months.

This off-season alone, we have seen several veteran quarterbacks move from one team to another. Russell Wilson to the Broncos, Carson Wentz to the Commanders, Matt Ryan to the Colts, DeShaun Watson to the Browns. With Watson heading to the Browns, it also means that former number one draft pick Baker Mayfield will likely be playing as the starter for another team.

We can’t also forget Aaron Rodgers signing a long term four year deal with the Green Bay Packers. In 2021, Rodgers was at the center of the off-season drama where it seemed like his tenure in Green Bay would actually be ending. And to cap it all of, Tom Brady who retired a couple of months ago, decided he actually wanted to play at least another season.

Is that enough for you? Well, now there is this. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed another one year deal with last years third string quarterback, Ryan Griffin.

In other NFL related news, former Washington Commanders quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III recently commented on Trey Lance’s future with the San Francisco 49ers. See what he had to say in the video below.
