On a day in which he went off for a 10 catch, 180-yard plus day, New York Giants rookie wide receiver Kadarius Toney was ejected for throwing a punch at Dallas Cowboys defensive back Damontee Kazee.
In the videos below, you can see Toney was very heated after securing his 10th catch of the game and evading as much tackles as he could for a first down, but one of his teammates got into the Dallas defenders sparking the skirmish.
Which would lead to this:
Wouldn’t be shocked if Toney gets a big fine or is suspended for a game or two. Especially since if his team is being routed by their arch rivals.
Yes, Toney is a rookie, but this is a terrible look for him especially when he was drafted to add to a (supposedly) rebuilt offense around his quarterback in Daniel Jones.
Now that Jones and running back Saquon Barkley is injured and likely out for next week, who would step up and be a leader? Would not trust Toney to fill that void, he’ll probably out next week too.
