Giannis Antetokounmpo and Montrezl Harrell involved in postgame altercation

The Philadelphia 76ers beat the Milwaukee Bucks 110-102 Friday night at the Wells Fargo Center.

Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo tried to shoot extra free throws after a terrible game he had at the line. Sixers backup center Montrezl Harrell and a coaching staff member, Jason Love, returned to the court, and Harrell took the ball from Giannis and refused to give it back.

Harrell stood in the corner shaking his head and holding the ball while Antetokounmpo pleaded with him.

“This isn’t f—— Milwaukee,” Harrell barked at Antetokounmpo, as per The Athletic. “Get that s— out of there.”

Antetokounmpo pleaded with Harrell to please give the ball back. The offer was rebuffed and Antetokounmpo went back to the locker room.

Antetokounmpo then came out with a new ball, and went to the other side of the court, where things got really spicy with a 76ers employee, and was captured on video. The employee had set up a ladder on the other side of the court to either check or fix something under the basket.

Antetokounmpo, looking to finish his shooting, attempted to move the ladder but the employee wouldn’t budge and he and Antetokounmpo got into it. The Bucks forward was angry enough to yell at one of the workers, rip the ladder away and toss it aside as it fell to the floor. No one appeared to be hurt.

“I’ve never tried to disrespect anyone in any way, shape or form,” Antetokounmpo said. “I feel like today is just an unfortunate event that took place.
