Georgia Star Says Eagles Organization Is A “Perfect Fit”

Written by Tony Ghaul

Georgia star Nolan Smith said in a recent interview that he just had an “amazing” Top-30 visit with the Philadelphia Eagles this past week.

Smith said that the Eagles organization just seems like a “perfect fit” for him.

If the Eagles select Smith with one of their two first round picks, he would be able to reunite with Georgia teammates Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean.

The six-foot-two and 238 pound ran a 4.3-second 40-yard dash and showed off with a 41.5-inch vertical jump. He ran the fastest time of any linebacker that participated in the 40.

Last season, Smith appeared in only eight games but collected 18 total tackles, including seven that resulted in a loss of yardage and three sacks.
