Written by Tony Ghaul

Former NFL running back Frank Gore agreed to a guilty plea to settle criminal charges he faced after being arrested last summer.

Gore pleaded guilty to violating the public health nuisance code and was ordered to pay fines and court fees totaling around $2,000, as per court records obtained by TMZ Sports.

Police in Atlantic City, New Jersey responded to a call regarding a domestic violence dispute at a hotel. Gore was accused of grabbing of a naked 28-year-old woman by her hair on July 31, 2022 and dragging her across the 59th floor of the Tropicana Casino’s Havana Tower in Atlantic City.

Gore last played for the Jets in 2020 and signed a one-day contract to retire as a member of the 49ers. He played 16 seasons in the NFL from 2005 to 2020.

Following his retirement from the NFL, Gore has become a professional boxer. He has a 2-0 record as a heavyweight.
