FOX’s Joe Buck Said That He Called a Touchdown While He Had to Pee in a Bottle #NFL

Written by Nate

Well, this is strange news to start out for your day.

In a recent interview to a podcast hosted by Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes, NFL on FOX #1 play by play announcer Joe Bucs went on record to state that he called a touchdown while nature called during a game in 1994.

Buck recalled that during a game in which the Atlanta Falcons and the Green Bay Packers were playing at Milwaukee County Stadium that he was wearing a parka and had to use a garbage can, and later, a bottle to pee in. Coincidentally, it was the last game ever that the Packers played in Milwaukee before going full-time at Lambeau Field.

“I have peed in a bottle while calling an NFL touchdown… I was peeing in a trash can and they came back — it’s true,” Buck said.

“They handed me a little water bottle…. We came back from a break, and I was peeing and the action started, and I called a touchdown while urine was coming out of me.”

Well it was his first season working on FOX covering football, but hey, if you gotta go, you gotta go.

Don’t really fault him here, but at least Buck has gotten better both on and off the mic. Just remember Joe, please go before you and FOX go on the air.
