MMA promotion, ONE Championship (ONE), has hired former WWE executive, Michael Mansury, as their new executive producer. He will be in charge of ONE’s live programming. ONE is Asia’s largest mixed martial arts, Muay Thai, and kickboxing promotion. ONE was founded by entrepreneur Chatri Sityodtong who developed a passion for martial arts as he grew up practicing Muay Thai.
ONE CEO, Chatri, spoke about Mansury joining the team, “Michael is hungry, determined and creative, which is exactly what we’re looking for as our business grows and we make our already world-class broadcast the very best in the world.”
Mansury’s 10+ years with the WWE was praised by Chatri, “His experience building stars and taking fans on a hero’s journey is a perfect fit for ONE Championship. I personally look forward to working with him and seeing first-hand the impact he is going to make from day one.”
Mansury was previously WWE’s VP of Global Television Production where he oversaw television and pay-per-view productions, as well as the creative direction of live programming.

ONE’s next fight card is scheduled for Friday, August 27th featuring one of the top pound-for-pound kickboxers, Sitthicha, vs rising star, Tawanchai, in a featherweight Muay Thai bout.
