It’s been four years since Nick Foles was the Super Bowl MVP for the Philadelphia Eagles. It’s probably felt that long since Foles played in a game.
On Friday, the Chicago Bears announced that they will have Foles start on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.
Justin Fields, the Bears first round pick from the 2021 NFL Draft, is dealing with an ankle injury. Andy Dalton is dealing with a hand and groin injury, so Foles is the guy for Chicago.
Foles was acquired last year to compete with Mitchell Trubisky before the Bears went in another direction at quarterback and sent Foles to the third string spot.
