Former NFL Head Coach Jon Gruden used vulgar term describing former Raiders QB Carson Palmer

Former NFL Head Coach Jon Gruden reportedly used an extremely vulgar term to describe-then Oakland Raiders QB Carson Palmer in a 2012 e-mail.

The House Committee on Oversight and Reform provided another e-mail exchange between Gruden and former Washington Commanders President and General Manager Bruce Allen and according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, Gruden referred to Palmer as “another p–sy USC quarterback.”

The GOP report includes this email from Jon Gruden, sent on 10/5/2012: "Raiders suck. [Carson] Palmer another USC pussy."

Gruden announced his resignation from the Raiders following the disturbing details that emerged from leaked e-mails, in October of 2021.

Palmer played with the Raiders through the 2012 season before getting traded to the Arizona Cardinals, where Palmer enjoyed a career revival.
